Accies and Inverness CT have agreed to bring forward the kick off time of our midweek match during the Christmas Holidays from 7.45pm to 3pm on Wednesday 30th December.
There is a scheduled midweek league card on the Wednesday between Christmas and New Year.
The club appreciate that while some supporters may well still be working at that time of year, there are many people, including schools, factories and other industries who are off. Further, at that particular time of year, there are many other distractions, christmas festivals, circuses, family visiting from afar etc., and all factors considered, and given that our opponents and their fans faced a lengthy journey, it was felt that the switch to the afternoon would be better and perhaps allow more fans to attend, at a more reasonable time.
We had a similar midweek fixture switch at home to Aberdeen five seasons ago on the same wednesday between Christmas and New Year.
We hope all supporters understand the reasons for the switch, which we have agreed with our opponents and Police Scotland, and announced in plenty of tme in advance of the fixture.
