Our development league side lost 3-2 in the mini derby against Motherwell, played at Airdrie, on Monday evening (26th February).
Motherwell took a 17th minute lead through Scott, Lewis Smith equalised on 27′ after good work by RT. Agyeman then restored Motherwell’s advantage 10 minutes later.
Ross Cunningham equalised on 59 minutes after RT was brought down on the edge of the area. Cunningham’s direct free kick crashed off the underside of the bar and went in off the keeper. But Scott got his second after a quick counter attack in the 67th minute.
Late on Slaven and Tierney created more chances.
