Goalkeeper Gary Woods, 25, was signed yesterday afternoon and international clearance came through in time for him to be on the bench at Meadowbank last night.
The English ‘keeper spent part of last season on loan with Ross County, winning the League Cup with them in March.
He has spent most of his career with Doncaster Rovers (73 appearances), before joining Watford, then Leyton Orient (17 appearances). He made 12 appearances for Ross County earlier this year, including in the Hampden final v Hibs.
He has been capped once by England at u18 level.
He has signed a 2 year deal.
