The Development League kicks off this week. Having finished runners-up last season, we will again be looking to challenge, with new recruits Jack Breslin (Celtic), Jordan McGregor (Hibernian) and Sean McKirdy (Hearts) all having joined up to boost the u20s, alongside stalwarts Shaun Want, Ben Reilly, Ryan Tierney, Ronan Hughes, Ross Cunningham etc. Under the terms of his development loan to Albion Rovers, Steven Boyd is also still eligible to play.
Our first game is this Tuesday, 23rd August, when we host Ross County, 3pm here at The SuperSeal Stadium at New Douglas Park, Hamilton. Admission, as for all home u20 Development League games, is free but fans are welcome to make a donation to the youth fund.
The following week we are away to Partick Thistle at Firhill on Tuesday 30th August, 6pm at Firhill; the week after we host Hearts here at 7pm on Tuesday 6th September.
