Our home Ladbrokes Premiership match v Aberdeen, which was showing as Wednesday 26th October, has been brought forward 24 hours to the correct date and time of Tuesday 25th October 2016, 745pm here at The SuperSeal Stadium.
Both clubs and the SPFL agreed on the switch.
The club are a designated Tuesday team for midweek games, as are Aberdeen, so there was surprise when it was scheduled as Wednesday (as was the full midweek card). With Accies now having a free Saturday the preceeding weekend, it made sense to confirm with Aberdeen and bring the game forward to the designated Tuesday. The club are grateful to AFC and the SPFL for quickly confirming the change.
All three of our scheduled league games v Aberdeen this season are midweek, meaning 11 of the last 12 Accies / Aberdeen encounters will not have taken place on a Saturday.
