Long serving club steward Bill Brownlie, a longstanding fan for almost 70 years and latterly a door steward and matchday helper at the club, has retired at age 77 from his matchday duties.
A Hamilton resident all his life, he went to school with long standing friend Craig Brown, former Scotland Manager, Bill has been coming to Accies since he was a child. However he has now decided to just sit back and watch the games with the rest of us.
Manager Martin Canning allowed Bill to accompany the players out on to the pitch for the pre match lne up on Saturday, and our thanks to referee Steven McLean and the Kilmarnock team for this.
