Our u20s remained top of the Development League with this comfortable 4-0 away win at Rugby Park on Monday night (3rd April).
David Templeton made his first appearance in our colours and netted the 2nd goal just before the half hour.
Jordan McGregor also played, using his development loan with Airdrieonians.
Ryan Tierney was quick off the mark, taking just 77 seconds to give us the lead as the heavens opened to torrential rain conditions. David Templeton added a second in the 27th minute, going down the right and cutting in to drill home a low left footed shot.
Cunningham, Ferguson, Watson, Quitongo were all performing well and a good move set up Steven Boyd to net our third from close range in the 41st minute. Shortly after the start of the second half Cunningham’s shot was palmed onto the bar and from Boyd’s corner it was Lewis Ferguson who headed in our fourth.
Despite the conditions we continued to create chances, and although Killie had a reasonable spell of possesson in the latter stages, it was a comfortable win for our lads.
