We drew 0-0 at Fir Park against Motherwell on Wednesday night (5th April) in a Ladbrokes Premiership league match.
Although we had a lot of play and possession Motherwell seemed to create more chances without overly troubling Remi Matthews, who kept a second successive clean sheet. Motherwell did have one first half effort which appeared to cross the line before D’Acol cleared, and we had Darian MacKinnon sent off for offensive / insulting / abusive language and / or gestures with 20 minutes to go. He will now have a further two games to sit out.
Gerant Gillespie was missing having sustained an ankle ligament injury against St Johnstone last Saturday. Dougie Imrie, who was subbed near the end, later had three stitches inserted in a foot wound.
