Our u20s side defeated League 2 side Edinburgh City in the 1st round of the Irn Bru Cup at The SuperSeal on Tuesday 15th August.
The game’s only goal came as early as the 3rd minute when Ryan Tierney dispatched a penalty after Ferguson had been upended.
City mounted their spells of pressure, particularly in the second half, but our young team held on and a nice clean sheet for Alex Marshall.
The draw for the 2nd round, at which more teams enter, including those from Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland and Wales enter, is on Thursday at 1pm, covered on the SPFL’s social media pages.
