Midfield attacker Ali Crawford made his comeback in Tuesday’s u20s game v Celtic, his first outing since 29th September.
However the u20s failed to score for the first time this season in the league and went down to their first defeat since 10th October. Missing Steven Boyd, transferred to Livi earlier in the day, the unwell Ronan Hughes, and Ross Cunningham, we had all six outfield sub players from our u17 team.
Goals from McInroy (32 mins), Hendry (75 mins) and Aitchison (81 mins, following up on the rebound after his penalty was saved by Jamieson) gave the visitors a result that did not reflect the play in the 90 minutes.
Accies – Jamieson, J Boyd, McCann, Want (c), Douglas, Breen, Kelly, Ferguson (Reilly 83), Tierney, Crawford (Wilson 64), L Smith. Unused subs Hamilton, Scullion, Joseph, Marshall
Referee Dan McFarlane (Aberdeen) Assistants Drew Kirkland & Ross Macleod
