Our u20s defeated Hibernian 3-1 at NDP on Wednesday afternoon.
The game was unfortunately marred by a clash between our George Stanger and ‘keeper Darren Jamieson which has seen DJ taken to hospital with concussion.
Ryan Tierney missed a 6th minute penalty for us, Dabrowski saving it with his legs.
Ross Cunningham put us ahead in the added on time in the first half after the keeper palmed out Breen’s effort and Ross fired home the rebound.
Hibs pulled one back early in the second half, before Jack Breen volleyed home in the 80th minute after good work by Leon McCann, and our third came in 90+3′ when good work by Kelly set up Cunningham for his second of the game.
Next week we are away to Falkirk on Wednesday 21st March, 7pm at Falkirk Stadium.
Accies – Jamieson (Marshall 40), Hughes (c), McCann, Stanger (Wilson 45), Sarris, Scott, Breen, Miller, Tierney, Cunningham, Smith (Kelly 71). Unused subs – J Boyd, Douglas, Mimnaugh, Joseph
