Hamilton Academical Football Club is delighted to officially announce the appointment of Dylan McGowan as Assistant Manager to Darian MacKinnon.
Joining the club initially on loan in the January of 2023, Dylan went on to join the club permanently in September that same year, captaining the side to our promotion back to the Championship via the Play-Offs.
The former Australian international then made history by captaining the club to our first domestic trophy in over 20 years when he helped lift the SPFL Trust Trophy in 2023.
Over the summer, Dylan joined the first team coaching staff and has played a key part of the coaching team this season.
Speaking exclusively to AcciesTV, Dylan McGowan said: “I’ve really enjoyed the start of the next stage of my career working alongside Darian and the rest of the staff.
“We’ve still got a lot of games to play from now until the end of the season and I’ll do my best to ensure we finish as strongly as we can.”
