Hamilton Academical Football Club can confirm that Connor Smith has departed to join National League side Scunthorpe United FC.
Connor joined the club initially on loan in the 2022/23 season where he quickly became a fan favourite, racking up 5 goals and 4 assists after joining in January.
Following a brief loan to Scunthorpe, and a permanent move to St Johnstone, Connor was back again on loan during the 2024/25 season, joining the club permanently that same season.
With 75 appearances, Smudger asserted himself as a consistent performer for the side with 15 goals and 13 assists.
