Hamilton Academical FC is pleased to launch a half-season ticket offer, with nine home matches
still to play in what will be a hugely important period of the campaign. Support from the stands
will be vital as the season reaches its decisive stages.
There will be continued change both on and off the pitch over the coming months, with young
players given opportunities to step up and contribute. As a club that has always placed a strong
emphasis on youth development, creating a positive and encouraging atmosphere on
matchdays will be key.
The club would also like to thank the Supporters’ Association for their efforts in helping
supporters travel to Broadwood for the remainder of the season. Working alongside the club, the
Association will help subsidise buses to home matches to make attending games more
accessible.
Transport arrangements will be coordinated by the club’s Supporters Liaison Officer, Alan
Macintyre (slo@acciesfc.co.uk), with buses leaving from the Bay Horse pub around 30 minutes
before kick-off.
Since its re-establishment, the Supporters’ Association has worked hard to fundraise, and
following recent changes at the club, a decision has been taken to prioritise short-term support
for matchday transport. Travel will operate on a “pay as you can” basis, with all donations going
directly into a dedicated transport fund to support future matches, including any additional
fixtures later in the season.
The club recognises that travelling to Broadwood can be challenging and hopes this initiative
helps remove some of the barriers to attending matches. At this stage of the season, strong
backing from the stands can make a real difference, both for the players on the pitch and the
club as a whole.
Hamilton Academical FC looks forward to continuing to work closely with the Supporters’
Association, developing a strong partnership and believes this initiative shows the value of supporters and club pulling together as we move forward.
