Staff of Hamilton Academical FC were joined by the family of the club’s Head of Media and Communications Marcus Nash to celebrate Marcus leaving the club to take up a new opportunity in his career.
While sad to see him go, Chief Executive Colin McGowan said: “The commitment Marcus has shown to this club and its charity arms has been fantastic. During the spells in lockdown of the last 18 months, he has worked tirelessly to produce media content. He also played a huge role in the creation of the club’s streaming service. This allowed fans the possibility to watch their team in the midst of a global pandemic.

“We would like to wish Marcus the very best in his media career moving forward and would also like to take the opportunity to thank him for his work.
“As Marcus departs, we are very fortunate to have Nickolas McInally who will take over the role. Nickolas has shadowed Marcus at great length during his time with the club. He will be assisted by Andrew Petrie on a voluntary basis.”
