Coming in over the summer from our academy to the full time set up are
Jamie Boyd (16), Steffen Connelly (16), Lewis Ferguson (17), Danny O’Halloran (16) and Lewis Smith (16). All have been stalwarts in last season’s u17s and have progressed well through our academy. Steffen and Lewis F are also Hamilton lads, Lewis F is in fact the son of ex Accie derek, while Lewis S comes from a family of long standing Accies supporters, and has been coming as a fan since a toddler.
Steffen has been capped by Scotland at u16s last season, while Danny’s father was an experienced junior player.
Head of Youth George Cairns is delighted with their progress, with Jamie another to have been here since 10 years old. The lads now go into the u20s set up full time, but Steffen and Lewis S are still of age for the 17s. Both have scored hat-tricks already this season in the u17 league.
We welcome them as full timers and look forward to their progress.
