Our development squad lost 3-1 to Hibs in Edinburgh on Tuesday (12th) afternoon. This was a good and competitive game and the scoreline in no way reflects the play overall, notwithstanding that Hibs played well.
A goalless first half, with several chances at both ends, then saw early goals in the second half. Ollie Shaw put Hibs ahead in 48′ before a wonderful passing move saw Botti Biabi finish with a flying header in 57′ then Matulevicius fired Hibs into the lead in the 63rd minute.
Again, more missed chances, great play and passing, but sub Gullan extended Hibs lead with five minutes remaining.
