The club were saddened to learn that former Managing Director David Morrison sadly passed away on Friday (27th October). He was 84.
David was Commercial Manager and then Managing Director 1980-1991 at the club before leaving to work with our then kit suppliers Matchwinner.
David, who came from Larkhall, was well known locally as he had a newsagents shop in Uddingston for many years, had also been involved in the motor trade with Trust Motors Ford, and was a long standing member of the Rotary Club in Larkhall.
He remained a regular attender at NDP up until a couple of seasons ago. He had been in poor health recently.
His funeral is on Friday 3rd November, 1pm at St Machan’s Church, Larkhall and to Larkhall cemetery at 2pm after.
