New Signing | Lennard Sowah
The club are delighted to announce the signing of German born defender Lennard Sowah – who returns for a 2nd spell in an Accies jersey.
Sowah, who was with Polish top tier outfit Cracovia last season, came to us in September 2016 from Danish side Vestsjaelland and made 7 appearances before joining Heart of Midlothian in January 2017.
Speaking from the club’s pre-season training camp in Marbella, Manager Martin Canning said: ‘’Having worked with Lenny before, he’s another with Premiership experience and we know what we’re getting. He’s a great professional, adds athleticism and pace to our backline and, being left sided, helps to add to the balance of the squad too. ‘’
The Manager added: ‘’We’ve worked hard to strengthen the squad and will continue to do so as we look ahead to our first competitive game at Annan Athletic on 14th July.’’
