Hamilton Academical Football Club can confirm that Club Captain Scott Robinson has departed the club to join Scottish Championship side Arbroath FC.
Scott joined in January last season and has went on to make 39 appearances across all competitions, scoring 5 goals, including a debut goal in a 2-0 win over Queens Park at Hampden.
We would like to place on record our thanks to Scott for his efforts and professionalism whilst representing the club, and we wish him the best of luck in his move to Arbroath.
On his departure, Scott Robinson said: “It’s been an honour to represent and then captain the team in my time here. From the moment I came in, the fans were brilliant with me and supported all of us on and off the park when we needed it most.
“Of course it’s been a difficult time recently for us all, but changes need to be made in order for the club to survive and progress and I wish the new owners, staff and players nothing but success in the future.”
